Amaranthus (Love Lies Bleeding) Seeds Growing Instructions

Amaranthus is an easy plant to grow. Plant the seeds just beneath the surface of the soil. It does not require a specific type of soil but a planting, rich in nutrients soil will bring better results. Space the seeds 20cm apart from each other. Plant preferably in the spring. Amaranth prefers partly shady to full sunlight conditions. Should you plant indoors. Amaranthus requires between 10 and 17 days to germinate. If starting off indoors they should be grown at a temperature of between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius in peat pots for seven to eight weeks before planting out after the last frost of spring.
