This pack contains 10 gr of Bhut Jolokia Pepper powder.
The Bhut Jolokia pepper is native in India and actually goes by many names such as ghost pepper and naga, naga jolokia and ghost chilli. It was for so many years (up to 2012) number one in Guinness books of records as the hottest pepper in the world. Its variety is capsicum chinense and it rates up to 1.041,427 units in the scoville scale. This makes this specific pepper super hot as it is about 400 hotter than the tabasco pepper. Pepper just needs heat and light to grow. Bhut Jolokia fruit grows green at first on the plant and as time passes by it will turn red. At that point the jolokia peppers are ready to be picked.
Please treat the jolokia pepper and seeds with extreme caution as the capsaicin stays in your hands for quite some time. Should you want to try the jolokia pepper just try a small part of the whole pepper as it is really hot.
This variety of Bhut Jolokia seeds are a simple variety-non gmo.
